This post will explain why you should work with a video agency immediately.
You may not need all the points. If you find yourself nodding your head as you read, you are probably right. Think about what I just said. Let’s get started.
1. Video Content is worth the effort, you know that
You just haven’t been able get around to it yet.
You’ve probably seen the statistics. You know that video content (well-made), is highly engaging and can generate a great ROI.
Sorry, I am obliged to provide you with the raw data.
52% of marketers believe video has the highest ROI of all content types.
82% of brands say that their video investments have been successful.
82% of internet users remember watching video ads on sites they visited within the last 30 days.
And:
Marketing executives use online video content for 91% of their marketing campaigns.
It’s not a bad thing to follow the crowd, but it means that if your business doesn’t use video in some way, you are probably missing out. Leads, engagement, and results.
2. You don’t have the time or resources to do it internally
It’s likely you’ve considered it at least once. How do you create your own video content?
It’s late at night and you are staring at your monitor. You’re chewing on your pencil. Add up the hours and staff members.
You will then reach the big wall.
Who will write the script and with whom? Who will produce it? And with whom? What will you do to fit it in between all your other projects?
Let me assure you, I am not trying to be negative. You can still produce your own videos within the company, but I am not saying that you shouldn’t. It’s something that almost every company should do at least once.
Is that contradictory? It might be a little contradictory.
Today, anyone can edit and film stunning videos on their iPhone. It’s not just about creating video content that is brilliant and powerful.
It is stunning!
What a beautiful presenter you are.
It’s amazing how witty the script is.
It’s not about that, but it is (mainly) about:
Strategy.
Research.
Planning.
Distribution is excellent.
Those are things that you may feel less confident about.
It’s not impossible to create great videos. It takes perseverance. It takes a lot of practice. It takes creativity, experience, and synchronization. This is why it’s important to follow a proven process. That’s at least how we do it.
Make an internal video. Make something quick and simple. It should be in front of your audience. It is a great learning tool.
Great if you find that you can squeeze in a short video to support your internal communications or social marketing efforts.
Don’t worry if you aren’t able to create a video or build a strategy to support your goals and needs. This is the situation most businesses find themselves in.
Let me tell you a little secret: We are a video agency and it is difficult for us to find the time to create our own video content.
We are working on it. We have the advantage of being able to understand the entire video production, marketing and planning process. It’s worth it only if it’s done right. (Note: This doesn’t necessarily mean that your video must be flawless). It shouldn’t be half-baked.
What I am trying to convey is that there are likely to be no other options. It’s okay to feel embarrassed about this.
3. The Video Making Process is a Mystery to You
You may feel strange fear about the process of creating a video.
Experienced marketers and internal communications experts have broken down when they think of creating video content. This is not a gross exaggeration.
It is a foreign and new process that many people are still astonished by.
Marketers are likely to have created or overseen the creation many types of content, including blog posts, infographics, case studies, and magazines. You might have even tried podcasting. There are many features that video shares with all of these types of content. All content should be viewed by the audience first. Every piece of content should be useful or interesting.
Video is a great tool for internal communication. It’s not too different from newsletters and presentations, but it’s much more powerful. Engage and connect with your employees is still the goal. It is important to keep dull information interesting and relevant.
Video has its own unique characteristics and problems. Do you know how many footage to shoot for your length? Are you familiar with where to find voiceover and presenters? ).
Making your own video content can be nerve-wracking and overwhelming. This is especially true if you have never done it before. Professionals do it.
A video agency is a good option if you find video daunting. They are constantly tackling video-related obstacles.
4. Video Content is not your strong point
I have been dancing all over the point. Let’s face it, we all need to be open-minded. All of us need to play to our strengths. Video is not one of them.
(At the very least, not yet.)
I am not trying to be rude. Video is not something you are familiar with. You might be a great writer or able to plan social campaigns like no one else.
Your business is unique, and your strengths include providing bespoke management systems for clients or baking the finest cakes in the area.
Video content is difficult to navigate. (See point 3.).
You don’t have enough time or energy to master everything. Who would ever want to be an expert at everything? We specialize because we do. All trades are welcome.
Keep doing what you are best at. Your video will be produced by the same agency.
5. You need professional guidance from the experts
Video content is best left to experts.
It’s not a shameful thing. In fact, it’s the responsible, sensible choice. Video production is difficult and requires the right people and processes. You will need to find them elsewhere if you don’t have the necessary tools.
It’s important to have a variety of perspectives and experiences in order to create the best video content. You have to get out of your box. This can be difficult if you are restricted to working with your team.
Working with a video agency gives you access to experts from other industries. With a video agency, you can collaborate with professionals who have the expertise and creativity to make your project a success.
You’re really paying for the agency’s experience, perhaps even more than the services.
Think about all the specialist jobs that you can outsource or receive external guidance for. Information technology, graphic design, and coding. Professional video is impossible to make, so that too should be outsourced.
6. You Want to Make Great Videos
The most important reason is that you want to achieve amazing results with video content.
Perhaps you’d like to:
Make an animated explainer to place on your homepage. This will convert visitors.
To engage your employees, film a motivational message from your MD.
Create an interactive video piece for use in a social media campaign.
Video can do all of these things and more.
